Recommend for a cursory stop
Comfortable room. I appreciated having free coffee and a tv in my clean, albeit small, room, and the hotel is just a 15-minute stroll from the nearby Amtrak station.
The breakfast was limited and the overall experience felt a bit overpriced.

Efficient and caring staff in all circumstances!!
Nicely updated and beautifully kept place in the middle of Santa Barbara. Absolutely perfect location - a short walk to Paseo Nuevo Mall. Set in a central area near Close to restaurants, state street in the heart of the shopping and dining district and the coast. The king room with 2 queen beds, continental breakfast, as for instance.

Large and compact room, large bathroom. Good location a few steps away from city centre.

A lovely experience with a beautiful building and clean rooms. The staff was attentive and friendly. Street noise could be an issue at night, especially for those in lower rooms, and the smallness of the accommodations may not suit everyone. A complimentary breakfast with traditional dishes like make-your-own waffles was a nice bonus.

The location was incredible and wonderful, for example, a Spanish colonial revival courthouse was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. It was located in a great area. I ate at a great restaurant for breakfast. Exceptionally comfortable beds in the rooms.

great stay but noise issues
The friendly receptionist made check-in easy, cute me warmly. Valet service was excellent, with quick retrieval of my car whenever I needed it. I appreciated the abundant breakfast options , with fresh and high-quality items available daily.
There was some noise from nearby establishments that occasionally disrupted my sleep.

I liked the location. The door men were usually friendly.
The elevator is very slow. Wall were a bit thin. Can hear guests leave their rooms.

The location on State Street made everything easily accessible. The hotel had a beautiful lobby and charming decor. I appreciated the clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Each room included a single-serve pour-over coffee setup, a great touch for coffee lovers. The breakfast was superb, with fresh fruit, pastries, and quality coffee available. The bathroom could use a bit of an upgrade, especially the shower design. Even though the staff was polite, I expected a bit more warmth and engagement. Despite this, the overall experience was pleasant, and I would consider returning for another stay.

the location is great. right in the middle of everything. overall clean
hotel staff not very helpful with suggestions on things to do or very helpful with much else. there's no room service of any type and the hotel in general is old and could definately use some updates. we had a queen bed room and it is pretty tight in there. our friends had a king sized room and they had much more space.

It was walking distance to everything, shops, restaurants, the beach. Parking was cheap and the continental breakfast was plentiful. The pricng was just right for the accomodations and location. And you can't beat $7 parking!
If I have to pick something, I would say that the bathrooms were clean, but a little outdated. Other than that, no complaints.
